| For 19 years Ikebana has been a leading florist in Wilmington. Specializing in Ikebana, European garden style baskets, vase designs, English plant gardens, orchid plants and a large variety of tropical, green and flowering plants as well as an eclectic mix of home accents from around the world. Both antique and reproductions. Ikebana containers, bases, flower arranging supplies and reference books are available for the novice or serious arranger. Japanese Tansu, Obi, Kimonos, bronzes, Hina dolls, Hina doll furniture, Imari and other Asian items are complimented by Mouth blown glass from Italy, England, and the United States. 
The commitment of our dedicated staff is reflected by our loyal customer base. The owners, Bonnie Burney and Ruth Lees are assistant professors of the Ikenobo School of Ikebana. Ruth is also an accredited teacher in the Sogetsu School of Ikebana. Their work has been published in the wire service magazines of Teleflora and AFS, and in "The Joy of Ikenobo" by Mary C. Takahashi. One member of our staff is a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers. |
