WILMINGTON, NC – The Forum is pleased to announce The Forum Fashion Fiesta – A Charity Fashion Show. The event will showcase the boutiques of The Forum styled by Jess James of Wilmington and a percentage of the proceeds will benefit A Safe Place of Wilmington.

“We are extremely excited to support A Safe Place and showcase a large number of female owned and operated businesses that The Forum has to offer”, says a spokesperson for The Forum.

About The Event:

The event takes place at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018, inside Blue Hand Home at The Forum, 1125 Military Cutoff Rd, Wilmington, NC. Tickets cost $30 dollars per person and are available via Eventbrite or can be purchased in participating boutiques. The six stores featured are owned and operated by women and their families living in the greater Wilmington Area. A La Mode Boutique, Blue Hand Home, Meadowlark Shop, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Très Bleu and Zia Boutique will all have featured looks on the runway. Additional Forum merchants will also be participating as sponsors and vendors.

Zelle Brown Wiggins, owner of ZIA Boutique says, “ZIA is very excited to be partnering with the other boutiques of The Forum on this event. It has been an incredible experience working alongside other women-owned and operated businesses, especially when working on an event that raises funds and awareness for the prevention of sexual trafficking along with advocacy of its victims. I look forward to showcasing ZIA’s summer looks while also benefiting a wonderful local organization!”

Models will be styled by boutique owners and Style Girl, Jess James. Being a local fashionista, The Forum found it fitting to bring James on board. “After hosting my Fashion Preview events for years at Blue Hand Home, I am so excited to take part in bringing fashion back in focus at The Forum with an event centered on celebrating & empowering women. Plus, we are going to have so much fun!” says James. Tickets to The Forum Fashion Fiesta can be purchased here –
